You will work with Just Resin's ARC (a speciality casting product), a 1:3 casting resin, alcohol inks and moulds.
Hows it work?
On arrival, check in with the Sip 'n' Dip Staff member on site who will show you where your class is located, then head to the bar to pay your $25 grab your drink and enjoy your meal. Once everyone has eaten (approximately 30-40 Minutes into the event) your art teacher will commence your class. While other guests eat your teacher will also help you collect the colours you need before class.
What is buyer protection?
You can purchase buyer protection (Premium Deposit) for an additional $8.50 per ticket. Buyer protection allows the ticket holder to transfer out of the class at any time before class start time provided they email paige@sipndip.com.au prior to class commencing. Please provide details of the class when you contact.
Travelling with your work
Resin is a fluid medium, a bit like the consistency of honey. You will travel home after class with your earring moulds filled with resin, they will be fluid and your design will almost certainly move and settle and look slightly different that it did in class (this is totally normal and would happen even if you didn't travel with it) - for that reason we recommend highly ride-sharing, so that you can carry your work out of the venue, into the car and home whilst keeping it level and minimizing the movement. You will leave your pieces in the mould for 2 weeks to allow any water to evaporate off the Arc before removal and assembly.
Parking
There is plenty of parking available on-site at no cost to you.
What to wear to class?
You will be working with art supplies, they will 100% ruin your clothing. Please dress appropriately or BYO an apron. Due to the risk of spreading covid in the community at this time, we do not offer aprons.
Can I pre-order a meal?
No. There is a minimum spend of $25 as part of your ticket, you can choose anything on the menu. Meal at this venue is Pizza, please check with the venue for more information.
What happens if I can't make it?
